The title track was motivated not by the realisation of land ownership inequalities in Britain but their hidden and massive extent. The fine work on cello of Catherine Oldham is very much in evidence on the album. In 'Among the Boxes' I wrote probably my favourite love song. Other highlights include 'The Ragged Trousered Philanthropist' and 'Am I over You?'
